The Jewish Seniors Agency, Jewish Family Services, and the Jewish Community Center have collaborated to form AgeWell RI, a “virtual agency” that is now providing a single point of access to senior services.  By making one phone call, caregivers, family members, and seniors will speak directly with an experienced senior information specialist, who will provide information, referrals, and follow-up.  They will also arrange to do in-depth assessments and case management.

AgeWell RI will reach out to the entire state, not just the Jewish community.  Seniors, caregivers, or families will be able to get information quickly and will be called back later to make sure their issues were addressed.  AgeWell RI will cut down on the confusion and stress involved in assessing services and ensure that an expert is always available to support families in need.  The benefits include increased referrals to agency programs, better record keeping to measure client satisfaction and outcomes, and stronger relationships among the agencies.
