Our Mission
At the Jewish Seniors Agency, our
mission is to ensure access to a full continuum of care for Jewish
seniors in the greater Rhode Island community. Through the direct
provision of services and in collaboration with other organizations,
we are committed to promoting and preserving the dignity of all seniors.
As a not-for-profit organization, our volunteers and staff members
operate and support an ambitious network of programs and facilities
that are making a difference in people’s lives. These programs
include:
- To Life Center Adult Day Services
- JERI (Jewish Eldercare of Rhode
Island) Outreach Program
- Shalom Apartments
- The Phyllis Siperstein Tamarisk Assisted Living Residence
- Renaissance Memory Support Program at Tamarisk

15.Nov.11 - Womens Association Celebrates 100 Years - Savings For You!
The Womens Association of the Jewish Seniors Agency (WAJSA), 100 Niantic Avenue, Providence, RI 02907, is celebrating one hundred years!
A group of women from the Ladies Hebrew Union Aid Association began a home for the aged in our community, and 100 years later, we are going strong.
Through our membership dues, annual raffle, Knit Shoppe, and donations, we provide significant financial support to the Jewish Seniors Agencys numerous programs and campaigns.
We invite you to acquire a Centennial Life Membership. In honor of our Centennial, the usual life membership fee has been reduced to $100 (for 2011 only).
Please consider becoming a life member and/or giving a life membership as a gift to friends and family members. Your check may be mailed to Womens Association, Jewish Seniors Agency,(WAJSA) 100 Niantic Ave., Providence, RI 02907.
